Hardware Installation – Digital Technology

Job Summary:  

Responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading digital technology hardware installation projects from the statement of work process through to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identifies project plan to include readiness for work orders, staffing, hardware, software, and equipment

  • Identifies and coordinates schedules for appropriate technicians, employees, and/or contractors which meet project timeline

  • Manages project progress and adapts work as required

  • Ensures projects meet agreed-upon deadlines

  • Manages relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Oversees all incoming and outgoing project documentation

  • Conducts project review and creates detailed reports for leadership

  • Optimizes and improves processes and the overall approach where necessary

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches.

  • Budget, cost, and profitability management skills

  • Knowledge of resource management tools

  • Ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture

  • Technical aptitude for the products used for POS, Digital, Kiosk, Networks, Drive-Thru

  • Capability to manage high-stress situations

  • Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, and excellent organizational skills

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and individual setting.

  • Solution-oriented problem solver

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration preferred

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in Project Management, Field Service Technician, or Digital Installation

  • PMP and/or Six Sigma certification preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
